I had a great experience here. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. They offer convenient walk-in services, which made everything easy and stress-free. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden charges, and they clearly explained the repair work before starting. The service was completed quickly and efficiently, and my vehicle was returned in excellent condition.

Had taken my JDM to 5 different places before I was advised to take it to this place. I’ve been told a million different things like changing out my CV axle, alternator to “just have to live with it”. These guys walked me through everything while asking me very detailed questions about my car. Test drove it a couple of times, and after literally tightening some bearings, car felt fine. They tried not to charge me but after what I went through I decided against that. If you have a JDM or any car in fact, take it to these guys. Solid, honest, thorough guys. Definitely my go to now.
These guys get it done right. My go to mechanic in the neighborhood. There is a reason they are so busy all day long. 5 stars from me…been there 4 or 5 times now. Price and service exceeded expectations every time.
These people are fantastic. Clear with their time estimates. They got the job done. Explained and even showed their work. They are transparent, competent, and have honest pride in their work. They get the job done. They are who I will be in touch with next time I need a tune up or repair.

On one unlucky day, my car sputtered and died in the middle of street and a tow truck delivered my car to extra care auto.
Then I had my car serviced for ignition coil, engine oil, transmission oil, wheels. I learned what happened, why it happened, what options I can choose from at what cost, and how I can maintain specific parts of my car. I felt relieved and confident. Reasonable price, full of knowledge and gentlemanly, I thought.
Later on, I went to have my troubling electric parts and brake parts checked. I explained symptoms and my other concerns as well. Again, detailed explanation on symptoms, and what and why’s followed. I also asked for check ups on suspected faults possibly needing repairs as my car is an old vehicle. Unlike some other shops, they pin-pointed necessary works only and explained when I would need each works done. So, consistency on quality service continued.
Naturally, then, I agree with other reviews that the manager and mechanics at extra care auto are so knowledgeable, professional, and kind gentlemen who give customers a peace of mind. They fit me in fast for service, answered all my questions and concerns, and fixed all issues at very reasonable pricing, yet never tried to usher me into anything.

I normally do all the work on my vehicles as I live remotely but had to come to Vancouver for medical. Was experiencing a front-end clunk and thought possibly a u-joint issue on the drive shaft as well. Fit me in last minute as I was going to drive a long distance in a few days. They did a thorough check for any safety issues. Mechanic located a couple of loose nuts on rear suspension u-bolts, and a front brake pad causing the clunk. I found the mechanics and staff to be knowledgeable, courteous, very reasonably priced, and most importantly, HONEST! I would definitely recommend this shop.
